Evangelization is an integral part of the mission of
the Church, sent by Christ into the world to preach the Gospel to every
creature (Mk 16,15). The Church carries out this duty above all in her
liturgical life, but she is constrained to fulfill it also in all the
ways and by all the means which are available to her to use as she
abides among the people of each continent. The Diocese of Sagar as a
young and dynamic missionary diocese situated in the central part of
India is carrying out the evangelization work through different
ministries. You are requested to involve generously with your prayerful
and financial assistance for the success and fruitfulness of the
different ministries of the diocese.
SPONSOR A MISSION STATION
Just as Jesus labored in the Father’s vineyard by teaching and healing, we too are called to serve the Lord and one another.
Our “Sponsor a Mission
Station” is an opportunity for every member of our faith family to share
in the pastoral and missionary work of Christ by funding the important
programs and ministries of the Diocese of Sagar. This critical operating
support enables the Diocese to provide the different mission stations
of the Diocese with a wide variety of essential services that change
lives –and souls. Contributions to “Sponsor a Mission Station” provide
critical support for outreach programs especially evangelization and
pastoral work of the Diocese of Sagar. Through our diocesan ministries
we partner with parishes to form compassionate lay ministers and
knowledgeable catechists; offer family enrichment opportunities; support
lifelong faith formation; reach out to college students; and bring the
love of Christ to the hungry, the homeless, and the vulnerable.
There are many easy and
effective ways to further the good work of our mission stations through
your valuable contributions. You can make an annual gift or
contributions spread over the year that provides vital operating support
for all of our diocesan mission stations, or you may wish to leave a
legacy gift in support of a specific ministry that has touched your
life.
Sponsors may be
individuals, families, organizations or parishes. You are invited to
select the contribution level that best suits you.

SPONSOR A SEMINARIAN
We invite you to help a seminarian say “yes” to Christ’s call to serve the Church as a priest.
“As he walked by the Sea
of Galilee, Jesus saw two brothers, Simon, who is called Peter, and
Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea – for they were
fishermen. And he said to them, Follow me...” Matthew 4:18-19
Can you lend a helping hand to a future priest?
The next best thing to
having a priest in the family could be to adopt one and to have your
family in the hands of a priest who, every day, as he offers the Holy
Sacrifice of the Mass, remembers you and your dear ones, who have helped
make his priesthood possible.
By helping him become a
priest today, you will help build up the Church of the 21st century. You
will enable him to touch tens of thousands of souls over the course of
his priesthood.
These dedicated men are the
future of our church! The continued growth in the number of vocations
to our community, along with the increased hunger for authentic Catholic
spirituality, and the creation of new ministries, are all signs of
renewal in the Church.
The Lord has blessed us
with very committed and capable people to carry out his mission in the
world, but we are now at the point where your sponsorship will be
critical if we are to continue to meet these growing needs and
expectations.
Jesus and his disciples depended on those who provided for them while they devoted their lives to prayer and the ministry of the Word. Following in his footsteps, we too are dependent on others and we humbly invite you to invest in the future of the priesthood through ongoing spiritual and financial support of the Companions of the Cross.
As demands grow, so do the costs. Today, more than ever, we need your continued prayers and your financial support to continue God’s work. We simply do not have the necessary resources to pay for the education of our seminarians.
Academic and related formation costs can amount to as much as $3,000 / €2,200 / `1,65,000 a year, but I am sure you will agree that this is a small price to pay to help a devoted Christian attain his calling to the priesthood so that he can serve the Church and bring Christ to thousands of souls.
Your support and financial assistance will be a strong reassurance for us, a concrete sign of the Lord’s blessing on all that we strive to accomplish on behalf of His Church and the work of the Gospel. How you can sponsor a seminarian
Sponsors may be individuals, families, organizations or parishes, and contributions may be spread over the year. You are invited to select the contribution level that best suits you.
Kindly send your contribution via cheque to “ST MARYS MINOR SEMINARY” or via bank wire transfer to the following Bank Account:

SPONSOR A CHILD
The joy of giving is
inexplicable. The smile of a needy child, having received a favor from
you, is familiar. He may not remember you; yet the Lord will have
written your name in His Sacred Heart.
Through “Sponsor a Child” program, you have an opportunity to experience that joy of giving. There are orphan children, differently abled children (physically and mentally) and poor tribal children under the care of dedicated missionaries in the diocese of Sagar. And they need your help – both financial as well as spiritual. By sponsoring a child:

Sponsor Diocesan Social Apostolate
As we try to live out the
Christian meaning of salvation in our everyday lives, we commit
ourselves to seek justice, in other words, to establish and live in
right relationships. We turn with special affection towards the poor,
the suffering and the voiceless in our society. This preferential
option is an expression of the love a mother or a father feels for a
family member in need, and of the love God has shown for the oppressed,
the needy and the downtrodden throughout the history of salvation.
The diocese carries out her social apostolate through Manav Vikas Seva Sangh (MVSS). MVSS is concerned in the welfare of the community without the distinction of caste, creed, religion, race or other limiting considerations, for the betterment of the poor by rendering formal and non-formal education in order to make people aware of their rights and duties as well as to develop leadership so that they inculcate the values of truth, justice, equality, love, co-operation and brotherhood so that they shall be liberated from social evils like casteism, communalism.
